Is Taco Bell Testing An All-Day Breakfast Menu?

Have you heard of this crazy idea that breakfast foods can be consumed throughout the day? It’s a concept that has worked out pretty well for McDonald’s — so is Taco Bell was apparently willing to give it a try?

A tipster who visited a Dallas Taco Bell snapped a photo of a “$1 all day” sign, which appears next to an image of some breakfast tacos GrubGrade reports (via The Motley Fool).

We reached out to Taco Bell for comment, and a spokesperson explained that the story of an all-day breakfast isn’t quite accurate: while there are breakfast items on the $1 All Day menu, breakfast items are only available during breakfast hours (6 a.m. to 11 a.m.).

Taco Bell first launched its breakfast menu in 2014, offering a variety of gravy-soaked breakfast items as well as coffee. Then in 2016, it debuted its “morning value menu” nationwide.

Jack in the Box also wants some of that breakfast magic, and recently started testing a “brunchfast” menu in South California as well.
