AT&T Unveils Yet Another Deal To Show It Loves Offering Credit To Customers
AT&T made another move in the ongoing chess game to determine which wireless provider can create the best, most enticing discounts and special offers. To continue what seems like an obvious battle between AT&T and T-Mobile, the larger provider has yet another deal for consumers – a $100 credit for adding new lines.
The deal, which comes after T-Mobile’s bizarre press release, offers a $100 credit for each new line that new and existing AT&T subscribers add until March 31.
The credit can be used on any smartphone, tablet, feature phone, hotspot, or wireless home phone line bundled with 4G LTE service, CNET reports.
This is the third offer AT&T has announced since the beginning of the year.
Just last week, the company announced it would let customers out of their contract if they switched to the AT&T Next Plan. AT&T Next is an early upgrade plan that offers customers a monthly discount for owning their phones.
At the beginning of January, AT&T unveiled an offer to seduce customers to leave T-Mobile. The deal, which may or may not be worth it, offered current T-Mobile customers up to $450 to switch.
Shortly after that deal was launched, T-Mobile continued their quest to be the “un-carrier” of cell phone providers by announcing contract freedom. The plan would pay the early termination fee for postpaid customers of other carriers who switch to T-Mobile.
We’re only one month into the year, so it’s probably safe to say the mobile carrier deal war is just getting started.
