Colbert Interviews The Vampire Who Foreclosed On Wells Fargo
The story of the guy who foreclosed on Wells Fargo after they messed up his mortgage insurance just got the Colbert bump.
In addition to being a homeowner hero, Patrick Rodgers says that he’s a vampire. He sports visibly-long incisors. This is the detail that Colbert gleefully hones in on, even making it look like he walks onto a live CNN newscast to chide them for not mentioning Patrick’s gnashers when they covered his story. It’s 6 minutes and 30 seconds of vampire jokes with about 15 seconds devoted to what he actually did to Wells Fargo, but hey, if that’s what it takes to get the word out, I will happily donate a forest to build that Trojan horse. Plus, it’s very funny.
But for those of you who want to sink your teeth into this story, read the step-by-step process Patrick used to foreclose on Wells Fargo, read his first-hand account, exclusive to Consumerist.
