You might remember the story from last week in which a Burger King customer was less than pleased when he looked at his receipt and saw that his order number had been replaced with the words “FUCK YOU”. Now comes news that the employee responsible for the F-bomb and her manager have been given the sack.

Burger King Corp. and the franchisee that owns and operates this restaurant deeply regret that this incident occurred.
The franchisee has taken immediate corrective action and both the manager and employee have been terminated. The franchisee has also reached out to the guest directly.
At least one co-worker of the fired workers says BK is being too harsh. “They’re both really nice people,” she told reporters. “I’m sure they didn’t mean it toward the customer. They were probably just joking around.”
The customer has been offered vouchers for free grub at Burger King but says he’s taking his fast-food dollars elsewhere.
