American, Delta Sue Operators Of Scammy Travel Clubs

American, Delta Sue Operators Of Scammy Travel Clubs

We’ve told you before about travel club scammers who send out notices claiming that you’ve won free trips from Travelocity or travel vouchers from airlines that sound like they exist (but don’t). The airlines have always responded to these stories by saying they would have their lawyers look into these types of scams, but at least two major carriers are actually doing something about it. This Is Getting Old: Another Flight Diverted Over Reclining Seat Spat

First it was that United flight where a passenger used an illegal device to prevent the person in front of them from reclining. Then an air marshal on an American Airlines flight arrested a traveler who wouldn’t give up on his complaint about the woman in front of him putting her seat back. Woman Claims She Was Kicked Off Delta Flight Because Another Passenger Thought She Looked Sick

While no one wants to be sitting next to someone coughing, hacking or otherwise distributing the insides of their bodies outward, one woman claims she was booted from a recent Delta flight simply because another passenger said she looked ill. Former Delta Employee Accused Of Approving $22 Million In Fake Invoices

No Lime In Your In-Flight Vodka Tonic? Blame Bad Weather, Drug Cartels

No Lime In Your In-Flight Vodka Tonic? Blame Bad Weather, Drug Cartels

Does your in-flight drink lack that certain something, a bit of citrus formerly provided by a lime? While I’m sorry for your loss, there are bigger problems than that out there, like drug cartels waging war with each other and natural disasters wreaking havoc with farmers’ crops. You can blame those issues for a temporary lime shortage that’s prompting many airlines to make do without lemon’s green sibling. [More]

Delta Flight Makes Unplanned Stop To Drop Off “Unruly” Passenger Accused Of Getting Grabby

If there are two things that don’t mix it’s alcohol and close quarters. Okay, three — it’s even trickier when you’re in mid-flight and your fellow passenger gets a bit unruly after a few too many cocktails.
