Subway Employee Admits To Touching Bread With Penis, Says Photo Was Taken At Home
———
UPDATE: A rep for Subway sent the following statement, complete with the tiny “TM” to remind us that Sandwich Artists is trademarked, to Consumerist —
“This isolated incident is not representative of SUBWAY Sandwich Artists™. These actions are not tolerated and the franchisee took immediate action to terminate the two employees involved.”

A tipster sent the photo, along with others, including a bottle of what is alleged to be frozen urine, to Huffington Post’s Weird News. The images had been placed on the Instagram and Twitter accounts of other employees at the store in Columbus, OH.
The photo of the penis touching the bread had a caption with the employee’s name, saying “I will be your sandwich artist today.”
HuffPo tracked the man down and report that he admitted to taking the photo but denied that he did it while working at Subway.
“I would never do that at work — it was at home,” he told Weird News. “This isn’t something I’d ever do at Subway. It was totally a joke.”
The bottle of frozen yellow liquid has the caption “Today at work I froze my pee.”
“I saw the frozen piss picture and thought, ‘What is this guy doing?'” explains the tipster who sent the photos to HuffPo. “Then came the penis picture. They’re stupid enough for doing this in the first place, but then to post it to the world? It was a dumb move.”
