Mom Not Happy About Finding Nose Ring In Daughter’s McDonald’s Breakfast Burrito
The mom tells Atlanta’s WGCL-TV [via Digital Journal] that she and her 4-year-old daughter were enjoying burritos she had picked up from a local McDonald’s when something caught her eye.
“I turned it and I see this piece of jewelry sticking out,” she says. “I’m like, ‘What the heck is this?'”
It was the aforementioned nose ring, which we’re pretty sure is not on the list of ingredients.
She tried to contact the McDonald’s to voice her concern but to no avail.
“The supervisor gets on the phone and says ‘I don’t know what to tell you,'” says the mom. And when she asked for the number of a district manager, she claims she was told “It’s none of your business.”
Her calls to McDonald’s HQ outside of Chicago have gone unreturned.
WGCL also received the run-around from the folks at the Golden Arches. The store referred the reporter to the district manager, who referred him to another district manager who referred him to HQ, which has not responded.
“My concern was that if something happened and she had swallowed it,” says the mom, who plans to stay away from McDonald’s “for now.”
