Ex-McDonald's Employee Records Mouse Stuck In Burger Buns
A fired employee of a Philadelphia McDonald’s gave a news station a cell phone video of a mouse stuck in hamburger buns and says he shot it while he was on the job. He says it was common to find mouse droppings on bread in the three months he worked there, and that management knew about the problem, telling employees to brush off the droppings before they served customers.
He gave the video of a mouse scampering around inside a bag of Big Mac buns to My Fox Philly, saying he’d seen rodents in the kitchen six or seven times, prompting him to record the evidence.
Here’s a news segment with the video:

It’s important to note that the employee was fired for poor performance, and he didn’t submit the video until after he’d lost his job. The restaurant’s general manager denied the accusations.
The owner of the McDonald’s says he’s taking the evidence seriously:
“After viewing the video, we are going to continue to investigate this claim to make certain we have all the facts. I want my customers to know that I am taking this matter seriously and will immediately address any issues that may exist. Therefore, if necessary, we will work with the appropriate authorities to get the facts.”
