KFC Apologizes For Not Letting John Travolta Reserve A Table
An employee at a KFC eatery in England says that when he received a call from a woman claiming to be a rep for John Travolta, asking to reserve a table for the Boy In the Plastic Bubble star, he told the woman “no,” but not because he thought he was being pranked.
“To me, customers are customers, no matter who they are,” the employee tells the Daily Mail. “It doesn’t make a difference if someone is famous.”
But a rep for KFC offered a more apologetic take on the matter: “In hindsight, of course, we would have reserved a table for him… It’s not every day you get a Hollywood star eating in your restaurant.”
Of course, we have no way of knowing if the call was legitimate, though the Daily Mail does say that Travolta was in the area that weekend to attend an event at Scientology HQ.
Maybe he just wanted to try out the new Cheesy Bacon Bowl, because in the immortal words of Vincent Vega, “Bacon tastes goooood.”
