Fisher-Price Replaces Broken Bouncer, Shocks Customer
When the Fisher-Price Bouncer that Allison had received as a gift for her son stopped vibrating, Allison contacted Fisher-Price to see whether she could have the item repaired or replaced. Instead, the company turned around and just sent her a new one, no questions asked!
We registered for and received a Fisher Price Bouncer for my son as a shower gift. It wasn’t an expensive one – under $50.
After my son was born he developed Reflux. Because of the Reflux, he was only comfortable sleeping elevated. The Fisher Price Bouncer was such a blessing – its the only thing he could sleep in for months. As anyone who knows newborns know – that’s a lot of time! When the Reflux resolved, we were able to move him to a crib, but still used the bouncer periodically.
After a few months of use, but before he outgrew it the vibrating unit stopped working. I contacted Fisher Price via their website and live chat. I was prepared to pay to have the unit replaced or fixed. I was ready to explain the background and how much my son loved this bouncer. But I didn’t have to do any of that! After telling them I received it as a gift and it was now broken, they offered to send a replacement unit for FREE! It arrived less than a week later.
After reading about and experiencing horrible customer service from multiple companies for years I was shocked and just wanted to share my story.
