The Gap: Where "Made In The U.S.A." Means "Made In China"

The Gap, a little clothing store you might have heard about, has been running a Feed USA campaign that donates money from the sale of branded bags to pay for school lunches. And to bolster buyers’ patriotic spirits, the posters for the campaign are stamped “Made In the U.S.A.” Well, maybe the posters are made here, but the bags aren’t.
A Gap shopper recently uploaded some pics to imgur that clearly show that the bags, designed by Lauren Bush, are “Made in China.”
So while $5 of the price of each “Feed” bag (ranging from $19.50 to $39.50) will go toward feeding children in the U.S., none of it went to an American adult for actually manufacturing the bags.
