Limes are cheaper than lemons and passengers seem to prefer them — giving Southwest airlines an opportunity to drop the yellow menace and save $100,000.

A Southwest spokesperson told the Dallas Morning News:

“At the end of our 3,200 daily flights, we found an excess of lemons and needless waste.”

“It not only reduces waste, but we’re going to save $100,000 annually.”
