Netflix Accidentally Leaks ‘House Of Cards’ Season 3 Early, Then Pulls It

house-of-cards-season-3-2Francis Underwood, the main character in Netflix’s original series “House of Cards,” knows the power of leaking information to the right outlet at the right time. Unfortunately, the real-life boss of Underwood’s universe isn’t as skilled: the streaming video service accidentally made the show’s entire third season available to everyone for a brief period today.

Of course, this could also be a scheme to attract attention before the new season starts, and to remind everyone of the show’s actual debut date, February 27.

Naturally, Netflix took to Twitter and admitted the error, making the same joke that we did:

A spokesperson for Netflix told USA Today that the new season was accidentally posted early in error.
