New Hampshire Lottery Offering Bacon-Scented Scratch-Off Tickets
What’s better than the smell of bacon? The smell of bacon bringing you a bunch of money. Because with a scratch-off lottery ticket, even if you don’t bring home the big win, you get to smell bacon. Mmm, bacon.
The New Hampshire Lottery introduced its first scratch-and-sniff ticket this week with a $1,000 top prize for its “I Heart Bacon Scratch Ticket,” reports WMUR.com.
Each ticket costs $1 for the promising whiff of bacon, which is cheaper than buying a piece of bacon but not quite so satisfying to the stomach. Unless you win and then you can buy TONS of bacon.
“The (NH) Lottery is focused on developing new and fun ways to engage customers. The I Heart Bacon scratch ticket combines two things people love: the chance to win cash and the wonderful, enticing smell of bacon,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission.
Lottery lovers can sore free tickets and slices of bacon outside the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester on Jan. 21, at the Cumberland Farms on Main Street in Keene on Jan. 23, at the Durham Marketplace on Jan. 24 and at the Hooksett Welcome Centers on Jan. 30, WMUR adds.
