388 People Hop Between The Sheets To Score Breakfast In Bed World Record

Perhaps the greatest luxury we can give ourselves is eating where we sleep, making an event where 388 people dined on breakfast in bed in one big hotel room pretty darn luxurious.

That show of supreme self-indulgence garnered the effort at the Pudong Shangri-La hotel a world record title, breaking the previous Guinness World Record by 100 people, reports Shanghaiist.com.

Almost 400 people breakfasted on croissants, noodles, fruit and various morning beverages this morning, breaking the previous record set on March 12, 2012. That’s when 288 people ate in bed all at once in Australia.

The organizers of the event, More Than Aware, put it together to raise awareness for breast cancer, trumpeting news of the record on Facebook.
