Does Your Family Want A Cajun-Seasoned Fried Turkey This Thanksgiving? From Popeyes?
In order to save time and their loved ones’ digestive systems, many Americans opt for a heat and serve turkey, adding their own side dishes as needed. Grocery store delis offer them, along with quick-serve restaurants. But would you turn to a fried chicken joint for your family’s Thanksgiving main course?
Popeyes hopes so. Their Cajun Style Turkeys are now a seasonal offering every year. They cost around $40, and you’ll have to reheat them before serving unless cold turkey is what your family is into. Their unique selling point? The seasonings, of course, and the fact that the entire bird (nine to thirteen pounds) is flash-fried.
