It’s Not Your Bladder’s Fault If You Get A Speeding Ticket For Going 140 MPH
When you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go. But just because the laws of space and time won’t bend to your will to get you to the bathroom in the blink of an eye, you can’t disregard the laws of The Man and drive at 140 mph to ease your full bladder. That’ll earn you a tidy speeding ticket.
An 26-year-old Illinois man was clocked going 140 mph on his motorcycle, says the Pekin Times, and was placed under arrest for going more than 40 mph over the legal limit, fleeing and attempting to elude police, as well as endangering a minor as he had a 16-year-old passenger clinging to his back during the ride.
“The officer said he even checked (the gun) twice” to verify its 140-mph reading, a public information officer said, before taking off in pursuit of the motorcycle.
When the officer finally caught up with the bike stopped between two other parked vehicles in between two buildings, the suspect explained why he had been going so fast
“When he told [the suspect] to put his hands behind his back to be handcuffed, he said he had to pee,” the public information officer said.
But instead of stopping to tell the officer that sooner, the girl with him claims the driver knew they were being chased and raced through a red light to get away. When they stopped, she says he tried to get her to switch jackets with him.
If he really had to go that bad, his first move would’ve been toward a wall. Not that we condone public urination, but we’ve all been there.
