JetBlue Expands 'Go Pack' 10-Flight Bundles Of Shareable Passes To 32 Markets

If you, or your business/family/social group plan on doing a lot of traveling in the next few months, JetBlue has expanded a limited time offer on “Go Pack” packages that lock in fares for 10 flights but allows buyers to share passes with other travelers and enjoy last-minute booking.

Go Pack had previously only been available for flights to and from three markets. Today’s announcement expands that offering to 32.

One of the major perks of the Go Pack is that you are not locked into particular passengers, so an employer who is frequently sending staffers from, say New York to Pittsburgh, can buy a pack of 10 passes and assign them to employees as needed.

The Go Pack might also appeal to people who frequently make last-minute travel plans, as the passes can be cashed in up to 90 minutes before departure.

The catch? That you have to buy the Go Pack by Sept. 6 — and all travel must happen between Sept. 13 and Dec. 19, 2012. For most of us, that’s a lot of traveling in a very short period of time.

“We listen to what our customers want and based on their feedback we’ve expanded our Go Pack offering to 32 markets… We’ve also extended the travel window to three months to give customers more time to use their pass,” said JetBlue’s Director of Revenue Management Roger Johnson. “The convenience of last minute booking without the worry of sky-high pricing is the perfect reason for business travelers as well as those wanting to share passes with family, friends, or employees to take advantage of Go Pack. The best part is that those who purchase a Go Pack will enjoy the benefits of flying JetBlue with their first checked bag free, plenty of legroom, free snacks, 100 channels of onboard entertainment and the best customer service in the skies.”
