Video: Meet Your Wall Street Occupiers
The Internet Celebrities headed down to Occupy Wall Street to find out more about what was in the protesters’ heads and how they operate. Besides the colorful characters we’ve seen on the news, they found dedicated press relations volunteers, a chalk board listing the times for various working groups and direct actions everyone could participate in, and a free library.
A man next to another man waving a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag explained why he was passing out purple arm bands, saying, “We’re not anti-American, we’re ultra-American. It’s too much right now to separate ourselves into red, blue, and white. So combine those colors together and you get purple.”
There’s a lot of things to chuckle about, but also some real passion and ideas floating around. It’s a great video that gives a snapshot of what’s going down in Zuccotti Park.
