Banzai Slide 'N Splash Whale Pool Box Vs. Reality

Three years after we first started pointing it out, Banzai continues to make kiddie pools that are disproportionately smaller than they appear on the box. The latest to enrage the internet is their “Slip ‘N Splash Whale Pool.” On the box it shows four children frolicking. In real life, those would have to be tiny munchkin children.

In the past, we’ve seen the same shenanigans with their Wild Waves Water Park and their Alligator Pool.

Now, when you pick up the box off the shelf it should be pretty clear that it’s not going to be taking up your entire backyard. You can only fold a piece of plastic so many times. And it’s a good idea to read the measurements on the box.

Even still, the ratio between the size of the kids and the pool on the box is wayyyyy off. Aren’t there any laws that say the proportions shown on the box should be relatively lifelike?
