What New Year's Resolutions Should Companies Be Making?
2010 is just about all wrapped up and many of us are at least paying lip service to self-improvement by making new year’s resolutions. So in that optimistic spirit, let’s see if we can come up with some resolutions that retailers and other companies should adopt for 2011.
Maybe cable and internet providers should resolve to stop treating customers like they are a necessary evil?
How about big box stores resolve to come up with receipt-checking procedures that are in line with local laws?
What if the airlines resolved to put a moratorium on charging add-on fees for every aspect of a flight?
Or perhaps fast food companies should resolve to make better-tasting food, rather than just slathering on extra layers of previously unrelated ingredients?
