Radio Shack Answers CEO Question
RadioShack named a new CEO Friday, Julian C. Day, former Kmart helmsman. The electronics retailer searched for four months after its previous chief resigned amidst discovery that two of his degrees on his resume were nonexistent.
Shares shot up 23% on the news of Day’s assignment.
After the fudge came out, Radio Shack had pulled all of its executive corporate biographies from the company website so as to vet them. They’re back up right now, although not all officer’s have their bios up. Presumably, they still have a few correspondence courses left.
