Dunkin’ Donuts Introduces More Co-Branded Sugar Bombs With Almond Joy And Heath Coffees

For those of us who grew up starting our day with a bowl of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, a big sugar rush might be how we need to start to the day. Fortunately, Dunkin’ Donuts will always be here for us, and they have yet another brand-synergized sugar and caffeine bomb for us to try. This time, they’ve partnered with Hershey’s to create Almond Joy and Heath flavored coffees.

The candy co-branding is all about promoting Hershey’s and giving customers something recognizable to stir into their coffee, of course. The flavors are simply a blend of chocolate, almond, and coconut for the Almond Joy syrup, and chocolate and toffee for the Heath one.

The flavors are a limited-time offering and available in hot or iced coffees and in lattes or macchiatos starting on Monday, May 30. If you happen to visit Hershey park during the Memorial Day weekend, you can try free samples of them there.

This isn’t Dunkin’s first attempt at brand synergy: in the past, they partnered with Mondelēz brand Nabisco to inflict Chips Ahoy and Oreo flavored iced coffees, frozen coffee drinks, and even doughnuts on the world.

“Our new Heath and Almond Joy coffee beverages evoke the fun and happiness associated with these famous Hershey flavors, bringing a playful new twist to our iced coffee that is perfect for the summer season,” said Jeff Miller, the company’s Executive Chef and Vice President of Product Innovation, which is an actual job. Just don’t combine it with an actual candy bar, as shown in the photo, or you might pass out from excess happiness.
