That’s what police in Sonoma County, Calif. say a 19-year-old man did with pilfered credit cards, reports The Press Democrat reports.
Cops pulled over the teen as he was cruising around in an orange 2012 Mclaren, which officials say he’d rented out for $13,000 from a company in San Jose. He also allegedly used those boosted cards to pay for a $27,000 stay in the multimillion dollar home.
He was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property, and his passenger was also cited but later released. It’s unclear if the two were in it together or if his pal was along for the literal ride.
This isn’t his first (alleged) brush with the law — police say he was on his way back from a court date related to charges that he’d used a fake credit card to buy $10,000 worth of stuff at an Apple store.
Nothing like staying under the radar, you know, keeping a low profile, right?
