Open Your Own Sprinkles Cupcakes Shop In Your Kid’s Playroom
Sprinkles claims to be the world’s first cupcake bakery, and it certainly was ahead of the trend, opening up in 2005 in Beverly Hills. Since then, they’ve been at the forefront of cupcake-deployment technology, launching the concepts of “cupcake truck” and “cupcake ATM.” Now, they’re extending their brand to children with a tiny toy version of their shops.
Well, most children already understand what a cupcake is. It’s the specific Sprinkles color scheme and little circles on top of the cakes that’s part of the company’s branding that make this kit a specific toy Sprinkles shop, instead of just any old generic cupcake shop.
What the company hasn’t mentioned yet, and what will be important to toy fans, is what scale this shop is. Is it dollhouse-sized? Barbie-sized? It will retail for $15 in Sprinkles stores and online, so it can’t be too elaborate, but which dolls can go there to pick up pricey, pricey cupcakes?
