Starbucks Celebrates 10th Anniversary Of Pumpkin Spice Latte With $150 Sparkly Tumbler Image courtesy of (Starbucks)
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, a beverage with an entirely justified fanatical fan base. The company is celebrating that anniversary with a limited-edition ceramic tumbler that features caramel-colored Swarovski crystals, orange and brown glaze, and an abstract version of the company logo in green crystals. It costs $150.
You get a $20 Starbucks card with it, so really it’s only $130. There will only be 600 of them made, which is surprising because we can’t imagine that there are that many people who would want to buy one. Starbucks is now accepting preorders, and they notified their Gold rewards card members about the product launch today.
The tumbler cannot go in the dishwasher or the microwave.
Mostly, we’re disappointed in the company’s lack of imagination. That is not a blinged-out Starbucks tumbler. THIS is a blinged-out Starbucks tumbler.
Or maybe this cup is more your style.
This cup is more subtle and lacks the element of pumpkin spice, but only costs six bucks.
Or you could save your money, and use the extra cash in your pocket to buy more Pumpkin Spice Lattes. We guess.
