In case you haven’t heard, weddings can be very expensive. And the part that most guests care a whole lot about, the cake, is no exception. So what recourse when a bride take when the cake of her dreams arrives and is more of a dessert nightmare? One unsatisfied customer took the Internet shaming route by putting the monstrous thing up for sale on eBay.

The cake isn’t for sale now, even if you wanted an experience in extreme eating, because the seller has removed it after being warned by another cake maker that if someone ate it and it truly was inedible, she could be at fault.

But who would want that thing, as the seller (via Yahoo! Shine) lists it as “used” and noted: “A few defects due to maker being unskilled. Uncut, along with large amount of awful cupcakes for free. No topper or decoration. Unusual design. Very heavy.”

She also describes the cake as a collector’s item, as it’s “inedible.”

Now that the cake has been pulled, the bride added that the whole thing was just a joke, but that she’s taking the failure seriously: “We have things in motion to prevent this person ever making a cake again and upsetting, or trying to rip off other unsuspecting customers.”
