Woman Booted From Flight Because No One Asked For Her Best Whitney Houston Impression

Just because the song “I Will Always Love” you (as written by Dolly Parton and sung by the late Whitney Houston) implies an unflagging dedication, belting it out on an airplane didn’t bring one passenger any love from an American Airlines flight crew. She was ejected from the plane for disrupting the flight, in part because she was warbling her karaoke-night best.

The flight departed Los Angeles International Airport last week, headed for John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. But instead, passengers were treated to an emergency landing at Kansas City International Airport after the woman treated the entire plane to her musical stylings.

KCTV5.com cites an airport spokesman in Kansas City, who didn’t pass judgment on her vocal skills but did say she’d been removed for being “disruptive.”

“The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew,” the airport spokesman said. “There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane.”

One passenger managed to capture her Whitney/Dolly moment as she’s being escorted off the plane for posterity. Because that’s something we’re sure no one will ever want to forget.

She was released without charges, and reportedly claimed she’s diabetic. It sounds like American Airlines had had enough of her Whitney impressions as it refused to re-book her. She made other travel arrangements instead.
