Grocery Shrink Ray Slurps Up Hunt’s Meat (Flavored) Spaghetti Sauce Image courtesy of Cans side by side
Zap! David’s family got a few cans of spaghetti sauce out of the pantry when they noticed that they were different sizes. Different brands? No, both cans were Hunt’s meat (flavored) sauce. One was older than the other. One was two and a half ounces smaller than the other. Can you guess which is which?
We were just getting ready to throw some spaghetti together, got out a couple of cans of Hunt’s premium meat sauce when I noticed one was smaller. My wife said they look different and I said “The grocery shrink ray strikes again”. The larger one was marked to expire 05/13, the smaller one 10/13. The older one was 26.5 oz, the newer one 24 oz, purchased at Kroger in Mishawaka, IN.
