Travelers Would Actually Pay Attention To Pre-Flight Safety Instructions If They Were More Like This
Airlines should take a cue from this sketch video and incorporate more dance moves into their pre-flight safety instructions if they really want passengers to start paying attention.
In fact, the FAA should mandate a requisite minimum number of plies, kick turns and grapevines per instructional demonstration. Most people just zone out – unless they’re watching the Delta safety video with its captivating Mad Men-esque hostess – and if they’re not watching, they’re not going to know to do in the unlikely event of a water landing.
Kudos to the players for nailing the perfect parody of the whole multiple finger pointing at the exits specific for airline attendants. I’ve always found that double-finger pointing style to slightly unnerving.
