An Idaho woman suspected of swiping a single can of beer from a grocery store last week was charged with a felony punishable by as many as 10 years in prison.

The Idaho Statesman reports employees say they saw the suspect take the 24-ounce can off the shelf, put it in her purse and walk out without paying. They called the cops, who arrested her on suspicion of a felony because they say they have evidence that proves she walked into the store intending to commit the theft.

According to the story, Idaho law defines felony burglary as a crime that occurs when someone “enters any house, room, apartment, tenement, shop, warehouse, store, mill, barn, stable, outhouse, or other building, tent, vessel, vehicle, trailer, airplane or railroad car, with intent to commit any theft or any felony.”
