Sony Opens Up Promised Identity Theft Protection To PlayStation Network Users
To make PlayStation Network and Qriocity users feel more comfortable following the network outage and data breach, Sony promised a year of identity theft protection.
On the PlayStation Blog, Sony spells out the details and opened up a portal that lets users sign up for a free year of Debix’s AllClear ID PLUS program. The offer includes $1 million of identity theft insurance coverage.
The offer is open to those who had PlayStation Network accounts before April 20.
