Cheaper To Get Four 2-Slice Deals Than A Whole Pie
Math is all around us, in the leaves on the tree, inside the crystals of an icicle, and in a delicious slice of 4-cheese pizza served up by your favorite New York pizza parlor, 7-11.
Reader Marc noticed that buying pizza in bulk at the Manhattan 7-11 he was in was not the best deal. With 2 slices for $2.29 and an 8-slice pie for $9.99, you would save $.83 by buying 4 of the 2-slice deals instead of getting the whole shebang.
Then again, out of all the amazing pizza places in Manhattan, you’re downing slices at a 7-11. So I’m not sure if it’s really a deal either way.
Keep those peepers peeled for odd things inside stores and send your snaps to tips@consumerist.com.
