    DEA Microgram used to be an awesome publication you could access to keep up with the latest smuggling techniques.

    Then those paranoid losers decided they were being too open and cut out all the neat stuff last year. Still lots of archived copies online.

    I think even in Spring 14 pounds of cocaine diquised as candies might get noticed by customs so it’s more than just bad timing on the part of the smuggler. The biggest surprise in the article was that all that coke was only worth $100K – back in the 80s the DEA would have claimed it was worth $1M per pound!
