Repair Shop Saves Brett-Favre-Themed Goat From Certain Slaughter
It’s lucky for a Brett-Favre-themed goat that the car broke down, otherwise he’d have probably been slaughtered, says the Winona Daily News. A woman driving a Chevy Malibu came into the Winona, MN Tires Plus last Friday asking if they could replace a belt. She then informed the employees that there was a live goat in the trunk that she planned to slaughter later.
Oh, by the way,” the woman said. “I have a goat in my trunk.”
Prusci didn’t think he heard her right.
“A what?”
“Yes, a goat,” the woman said. “And it’s alive.”
The employees heard the goat crying and were concerned. They popped the trunk and found the animal, dyed purple and gold with the number 4 shaved into its side. It was tied up, and pretty soon it wasn’t moving very much.
The repair shop called animal control who intercepted the woman as she left the shop. The goat is now under a vet’s care. We know some people are upset about Favre joining the Vikings, but damn, don’t take it out on the farm animals.
