Papa John's Founder Says Don't Eat Too Much Of His Pizza
Marketing and PR folks probably dread stories like this one: John Schnatter, the founder of Papa John’s, said on a BBC radio interview yesterday that you shouldn’t eat too much of their pizza.
He was trying to actually claim that pizza can be “nutritious” if you don’t overeat it, but it sure came off sounding like, “Go easy there on our product, pal.” We commend his accidental public service announcement—although, as his interviewer pointed out, his company’s shareholders probably don’t.
