Morning Deals Round-Up
• This is edifying. Finally, a Woot! I can comment on first-hand: today, they’re selling the SanDisk 512MB MP3/WMA Player with FM Tuner and Voice Recorder for $22.99. I bought this as a stocking-stuffer for my mother last Christmas, and she was just delighted with it. It’s not high-tech, but it’s functional, light-weight, runs off of AA batteries and I’m sure Mom would testify that it’s great to putter around in the garden with, listening to old time radio shows. And it certainly beats the crap out of one of those sucky “iPod” Shuffles, by dint of screen alone.
• This week’s Wine.Woot! is the Jepson Winery Mendocino Mix for $35.99. None of the commenters seem to know anything about the quality of the wine itself, though the labels are reminiscent of a Gay Parade in the Latin Quarter. It’s about a 23 buck deal though, and you can never have too much plonk.
• Even without the 20 buck rebate, this PQI 2GB 150x SD Card for $37.99 is a pretty decent deal. If you’re willing to try the rebate, it brings it down to $18 bucks, with free shipping.
