The name of this Dogfish Head Beer is called Golden Shower.

Hey, you in the back! No giggling! Apparently, being drenched with steaming urine from head to toe is exactly the vibrant imagery Dogfish Head was going for. Although classy enough never to use the word “urine” in the product description, Dogfish Head advertise their beer as a call to arms against watered-down beer… usually referred to as piss in the pub setting.

Dogfish Head describes Golden Shower as “A true Pilsner brewed with 100% Pilsner Barley, and impressively hopped using our self-developed continuing-hopping method. At 9% abv it’s also nearly twice as strong as the American, wanna-be pilsners made by the big boys.”

Really, if you’re going to name your beer after a micturating fetish, why not just go the whole hog and call it Golden Showers Imperial Pissner?
