USDA Issues Public Health Alert About Aspen Foods Stuffed Chicken Products Produced Since July Recall
You may remember that a few months ago, millions of stuffed chicken breasts from two different companies were recalled for possible Salmonella contamination. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a public health alert urging consumers not to eat chicken products made after the period included in the recall. The agency’s testing found more of the same strain of Salmonella bacteria in samples from the facility, but Koch Poultry has refused to recall the products made during this period, from July 30 to September 17. GM Issues New SUV And Truck Keys For Ignition Problem: Not THAT Ignition Problem
While it’s not directly related to the now-infamous General Motors ignition defect that has been blamed for the deaths of 35 motorists, the company is replacing ignition keys for some model year 2014 and 2015 Chevrolet and GMC pickup trucks and SUVs. Remember how General Motors promised that it is totally done with recalling cars? Well, strictly speaking that’s true, because the company is not recalling any 2015 Corvettes. They’re stopping shipments and sales of cars that are currently on dealer lots, because there may be problems with their parking brakes and airbags.
