Starbucks Now Serving An Actual Coffee Beer On Boozy Evening Menu
For the better part of two years Starbucks has mingled coffee and beer on its “Evenings” menu. Now, instead of simply offering coffee-flavored beers, the company is literally mixing the two components.
Mashable reports that the Espresso Cloud IPA debuted on the menu in a limited number of stores across the country.
The drink, which is featured in a video created by Starbucks’ research and development team, is the result of a year’s worth of research.
The Espresso Cloud IPA is created when a chilled shot of orange and vanilla-flavored espresso is dropped into a glass of IPA. As if a shot of espresso in your beer wasn’t enough coffee flavor, the glass is topped with coffee froth.
Customers have the choice to drink the shot and beer separately, but its creator suggests they come mixed.
