Amazon Launches “Exclusives” Store For The Things You Didn’t Know You Needed
If you’ve ever searched high and low to find the perfect present for your odd cousin Bob only to find that everything you see in the store is generic or just wouldn’t fit his unique personality, then you’re the type of consumer Amazon aims to please with its latest store.
Amazon announced today the addition of Amazon Exclusives, which aims to give consumers direct access to innovative products from popular and up-and-coming brands.
So what exactly will you find on Amazon Exclusives? Well just about everything, including a pair of bee-inspired Mary Jane flats and an LED turn signal cycling glove.
The store, which for the time being focuses on electronic accessories, toys, sporting equipment and some fashion items, will also sell several brands previously featured on the TV show Shark Tank.
“Our mission on behalf of customers is to make Amazon the destination for brands and innovators to launch and sell their products, providing our customers early access to new products,” Peter Faricy, vice president of Amazon Marketplace, says in a statement.
The products featured on the site are exclusive to either Amazon or the brand’s website or physical store; meaning you won’t find the items at your local big box store.
