Russell Stover Chocolate Peanut Butter Bunny Disappoints On Both Counts
Seems solid enough.
Ed sent us these chocolate bunny photos after lunchtime on Monday, which we’re assuming means that he bought them on post-Easter clearance. Even if he did, that doesn’t give Russel Stover an excuse to sell him a skimpy bunny with a meager amount of peanut butter inside.
I think these pictures speak for themselves, but here are some words nonetheless. A 1.5oz candy bunny, “peanut butter covered in chocolate”, has disappointment after disappointment. First, they make the rabbit seem bigger by having the back of it carved out. Then, there is but the smallest amount of peanut butter inside of it.
Not quite grocery shrink ray, but maybe the grocery deception ray?
Hmm…kind of sparse on the back there.
Still the case when it’s right-side up.
Could use more peanut butter.
Guess the peanut butter is largely incidental.
You can’t go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter. Ever. But even with the weight listed right on the package, we agree that Ed has a right to be at least a little bit disappointed.
