Man With Uninsured $430K Lamborghini Finds $568 Ticket Outrageously High
Only the capriciousness of youth or a devoted avoidance of the realities of life could explain why someone would decide against insuring a $430,000 vehicle. The 22-year-old driver of a Lamborghini Aventador apparently believed no harm could ever befall his precious vehicle, which is the only reason we can think why he would skip insuring it. Paying a high price for such a car is apparently no biggie, but a $568 ticket? That is ridiculous.
The air up there in Vancouver must be filled with sweet reassurances that his 2012 Lamborghini was exempt from ever being in a collision or suffering whatsoever, as the young driver decided to skip on car insurance, reports The Province. That didn’t fly with the cop who pulled him over for not having a license plate, however.
As soon as the police officer realized the fancy vehicle was uninsured he issued the man a $568 ticket. Outrageous! Simply outrageous.
“When the officer gave the driver a $568 fine for not having insurance, the driver actually complained the fine was too much money,” said a spokesman for the RCMP’s Lower Mainland District Traffic Services.
It should be interesting to see if having his car towed away is enough reason to pay that ticket, eh?
