Ban A Bad Shopping Habit To Save Money
It’s easy to become addicted to a daily coffee shop run, eating out for lunch or other regular buys of non-essential stuff that you’ve turned into habits. On her blog, Shaking the Money Tree, Jolie writes that she’s cutting herself off from ebook buys until Christmas, saying that Amazon’s one-click Kindle book purchases make it too easy to stock up on stuff she’ll have no time to read. She’s also caught herself re-buying books she’s sold at garage sales before.
While it’s not easy to break a buying habit, identifying a problem is at least a first step toward getting there.
