Target Recalls Frog Masks That Could Suffocate Kids
Some early bird parents who indulged their kids’ wishes to dress up as frogs for Halloween will have to re-do their costume shopping. Target recalled 3,400 products called Children’s Frog Masks due to a potential suffocation hazard.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the $1 masks, marked with UPC code 06626491474, lack proper ventilation when placed on kids’ faces. There have been no reported injuries as of yet.
The recall advises parents to keep the masks away from small children and return them to Target for a refund. Those with questions can call Target customer service at (800) 440-0680.
