A woman has filed a lawsuit against the movie Drive because she felt the moving didn’t have enough driving in it relative to what was promised in the movie trailer.

The Hollywood Reporter says the lawsuit alleges that the distributors of the movie “promoted the film Drive as very similar to the Fast and Furious, or similar, series of movies.” It continued, “Drive bore very little similarity to a chase, or race action film… having very little driving in the motion picture.”

…thus marking the first time anyone has complained that a movie needed to be more like a Vin Diesel flick.

The lawsuit names both the distributors of the movie, and the theater where she saw it at, as defendants. The woman wants both a refund of her movie ticket and for all “misleading movie trailers” to be stopped in the future. It seeks class action status, so that others can pile in the backseat.

If anything, I would be more upset that the movie had an incredible amount of horror-movie style violence, the level of which the trailer doesn’t even hint at.
