NBCUniversal Employees Won't Get Comcast Stock Gifts For 5 Years
Remember when NBCUniversal granted employees 25 shares of the company following the Comcast merger as a gesture of good will? Well, it turns out the gift wasn’t as generous as it seemed.
An anonymous source tells Deadline that employees won’t actually get the shares until January 2016, five years after they were presented to them in a gift basket along with a book on company history and passes to Universal Studios.
Says the source:
Just when you thought Comcast/NBCU was being generous…. Nope. They are basically giving the equivalent of an annual bonus of $125 for five years — if you can last that long.”
What’s the lamest gift an employer ever gave you?
