Worst Company In America Round One: American Express Vs. Capital One
Have your photo IDs ready because you’ll need them to vote in this battle of credit card combatants!
Once the paragon of credit card companies, with its uptown attitude and celebrity cachet, AMEX has taken a turn for the worse in recent years as its customer service and cardholder policies began to look more and more like the companies it had once looked down on.
Meanwhile, scrappy Capital One seems to have been created in a lab for inclusion in the WCIA brackets. With abominable service that couldn’t resolve a customer’s complaint that she’d somehow been billed $286 million and a history of sketchy practices for enrolling new customers, does AMEX stand a chance against the Capital One barbarians? Or are they vikings?
This poll is now closed. Congratulations to Capital One! See you in the Sweet 16!
