Rolls Royce Unveils $1.6 Million Electric Car
At the Geneva Auto Show in Switzerland, Rolls Royce unveiled its foray into the electric car market: The 102EX, which has zero emissions, go 0-60mph in under eight seconds and will get you 125 miles on a single charge… all for the projected price of around $1.6 million.
“We have engineered the world’s first battery electric vehicle for the ultra-luxury segment,” the luxury car maker’s CEO said about the 102EX.
In addition to being able to plug the car in like other electric cars, the 102EX also lets owners charge the cars wirelessly via electromagnetic induction with the use of a pad that could be positioned under the vehicle.
The vehicle is not ready for the market yet, but the company is showing off a fully functional prototype.
