Do Not Try To Deal Drugs From Your Cruise Ship Cabin
What won’t you find on a list of must-pack items for cruise vacations? Narcotics and incriminating wads of drug money. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say a passenger on a Royal Caribbean cruise was caught with both inside his cabin, where he had allegedly set up a drug-dealing operation.
CNN reports officials caught the man with meth, ecstacy, ketamine and more than $51,000 in cash. They found the stash in a random inspection. The accused passenger was yanked off the ship and turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents while the rest of the passengers continued on the voyage.
Royal Caribbean says it was following its zero tolerance policy on narcotics aboard ships.
